School Treat (1872)

Extract from South Eastern Gazette of June 1872.

On Thursday, the 13th inst., Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster Lucas gave their annual treat to

the children of the National and Infant Schools, in the beautiful grounds of

Wateringbury Place. The day was fine, and the children enjoyed themselves to their

hearts’ content.
