KENT AND MAIDSTONE CATTLE SHOW

The annual exhibition of fat stock, poultry, roots and wool, in connection with the Maidstone Agricultural Association, took place on Tuesday last, in the College-yard, kindly lent for the occasion H. Simmonds, Esq. The show of cattle was comparatively small, but those exhibited were certainly deserving the enconiums passed upon them. Short-woolled sheep were likewise scarce, but of good quality. The poultry was the best in the exhibition, both in quantity and quality. The roots were good, and also the small amount of wool shown. The exhibition on the whole, considering the circumstances was highly successful.
