WATERINGBURY.

DEDICATION OF THE NEW ORGAN, YESTERDAY.—Yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon the new organ presented to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Wateringbury, by the churchwardens was dedicated to the service of God and the use of His church. After this ceremony, Mr J. Hopkins, the talented organist. of Rochester Cathedral, gave a recital in which be was assisted by Mr Oroyd (tenor), who made such a favourable impression at the choral featival at Maidstone last week, and Master Taylor (treble), both whom belong to the Cathedral choir at Rochester. Their vocal contributions were capitally rendered, and the selections played by Mr Hopkins were all that could be desired.
