Tame rabbit theft (1868)

WATERINGBURY. Stealing Rabbit.—

Last Monday, James Hammond. Wateringbury, was taken into custody by P.C. Millen, upon the charge of stealing a live tame rabbit belonging to Thomas Cole, of the same parish. The case was tried before J. W. Stratford, Esq., and R. Tassell, Esq., the Malling Police Court, on the same day, and prisoner was sent to gaol for six weeks with hard labour.
