Preliminary Notice.

WESTBURY MANOR FARM, WATERINGBURY, NEAR MAIDSTONE.

IMPORTANT SALE of the well-known pure bred FLOCK of over 600 KENT SHEEP and LAMBS, 14 fine upstanding home bred Cart Horses, Horned Stock, Pigs, Agricultural Implements, and Effects.

MR. GEORGE LANGRIDGE has received instructions from Henry White, Esq., who is leaving, to

SELL BY AUCTION, upon the premises, on WEDNESDAY, October 8th, 1884,

at Eleven o'clock punctually,

the whole of the valuable and superior LIVE and DEAD FARMING STOCK and Effects, including about 200 1, 2, and 3 lamb Kent ewes, 140 ewe tegs, 120 ewe lambs, 120 wether lambs, 12 ram tegs, 10 ram lambs, 14 powerful young cart horses, pedigree short horned stock, pigs, poultry, agricultural implements, &c., &c.

The Sale of Live Stock will commence after one o'clock luncheon. Further particulars will appear in future advertisements, and Catalogues can be had in due course at the principal Inns in the neighbourhood, and of Mr. G. Langridge, Land Agent, Surveyor and Valuer, The Great Hall, Tunbridge Wells.

MESSRS. LANGRIDGE have received instructions from Henry White, Esq. (who is leaving),

to SELL BY AUCTION, upon the premises, WEDNESDAY, October the 8th, 1884, at Ten o’clock punctually, the whole of the valuable and superior LIVE and DEAD FARMING STOCK, including powerful young home bred cart horses, pedigree shorthorn cows and heifers, Alderney cows and heifers, half-bred Alderney cows and heifers, pedigree shorthorn bull calf, shorthorn steers, the well known pure bred flock of 623 Kent sheep, including 211 1, 2, and 3-lamb ewes, 390 ewe and wether tegs, 10 ram tegs and 12 ram lambs; pedigree white Yorkshire boar, 3 ditto breeding sows, 14 store pigs, and 200 head of geese, ducks, turkeys, and chicken; the implements include broad and narrow-wheel waggons, 6 dung carts, 2 water barrels on wheels, 2 hay tedders, iron horse rake, share corn drill, 3 Wood’s mowing machines, Wood's self-delivery reaping machine, turnip drill, sets of iron drag and small harrows, double-cylinder iron land rolls, Cambridge roll, chaff cutters, turnip and cake mills, horse gear, patent horse hoe, 2 hop sulphurators, 9 hop nidgets, hopbine cutter, portable boiler, 3 hop-pickers’ tents, 100 folding hop-bins, oast tackle, iron cisterns and tanks, pig troughs, 600 sheep gates, sets of quoiler, chain and other harness, and numerous other effects.

The Sale of the Implements and Machinery will commence at 10 o’clock, and the Live stock after One o’clock luncheon.
