NISI PRIUS COURT.—TUESDAY.

(Before Mr Justice Bovill).

George Baldwin, of Maidstone, v. John Beal Jude, brewer, Wateringbury.

This was an action brought by the plaintiff as trustee in the case of the bankruptcy of Henry Cogger, of the Angel Inn, Aldington, against the defendant, a brewer of Wateringbury, for the recovery of damages for the wrongful conversion and sacrifice of certain goods which had been sold the defendant under a bill of sale.

The Hon. G. Denman appeared with Mr Keogh for the plaintiff, and Mr Pollock with Mr J. M. Hayman for the defendant.

Defendant paid £52, and a verdict was given for him.
