Beer (1/2 pint) theft (1868)

Extract from Maidstone Telegraph 7th March 1868. There was a William Barber living in Pizien Well at 1851 census.

William Barber, was charged with stealing half a pint of beer from the store room Mr. Jude's brewery, Wateringbury, on the 3rd of Feb. The defendant admitted the offence, and was committed for seven days' hard labour.
