WATERINGBURY.

MID KENT STAG HOUNDS.-PROPOSED TESTIMONIAL TO RETIRING MASTER.

-We understand that with the close of the season, Mr. Charles Leney of Wateringbury, resigns the mastership of this popular pack to his brother, Mr. Herbert Leney and it is proposed to get up a testimonial to the Master on his retirement. The form it is to take has not been decided on, but subscriptions are limited to a guinea, and may be sent to Major Usborne, Loddenden, Staplehurst.

Stag hounds were a Leney hobby and possibly they may have been kept at the back of Huntsman Cottage on Bow Road.
