A Second Match was played on the Angel Cricket Ground, on Wednesday last, between eleven gentleman of Tonbridge Club and eleven of the Wateringbury Club. The Tonbridge side went in first, and scored at the end of their first innings 106, their opponents then succeeded to the bat, and numbered 74, Tunbridge in their second innings obtained 112, and it being by this time 7 o'clock, the Wateringbury party gave in, in favor of their opponents. Some excellent playing was witnessed during the day on both sides, but more especially on the parts of the members of the Tonbridge Club. The Cricketers then adjoined to the Angel Inn, to partake of the excellent dinner there provided, which having been fully discussed, the chair was taken by Mr. W. Kirk and, and the remainder of the evening was devoted to song, sentiment, and conviviality.
