A transcription of knights fees in Kent was published in Volume 12 of Archaeologia Cantiana. The following reproduces this in respect of the hundred of Twyford.

Hundredum de Twyferde

In eodem Hundredo sunt Villate Netlestede, Woteringbery, ffarleghe, Therstane & Huntintone.

337 Radalphus de Pympe tenet unum feod. in Haldinge de Thoma de Warbletone.

338 Reginaldus de Snotebeam tenet dimid, feod. in eadem de eodem.

339 Willemus de Lodeneforde tenet j quiarter in eadem de eodem.

....

345 Bartolomeus de Woteringbery tenet j.feod. & dimid in Woteringbery de domino Hamone.

346 Prior de Ledes tenet vam partem feod. de eodem in eadem.

347

348 Petrus de Westbere tener Xam partem feod. de Symone filio Ade.

As with most things medeival interpretation is difficult but we see by 1346 both the name Wateringbury and Westbury had both been adopted as personal names having started as geographicam names.
