WATERINGBURY. —

Concert.— On Monday last, a morning and evening amateur concert was given in the National School room, Wateringbury, in aid of the funds for raising an institute for the working classes of the parish. The occasion was almost a general holiday, most of the shops being closed long before the usual time. The concert was well patronised the nobility and gentry of the neighbourhood, and altogether was very successful.
