WATERINGBURY. Sunday, December 26th, a sermon was preached by the vicar in behalf of Canterbury Diocesan Church Building and Endowment Society. The collection amounted £6 6s. 8d.

Captain and Mrs Brenchley, who have left Wateringbury, have presented through the Rev. Henry Stephens two very handsome silver cups for the Holy Communion, which were used for the first time on Christmas Day. Their loss will greatly felt at Wateringbury, where they were much esteemed by all classes. The poor of Mrs Brenchley's district will not easily forget her kindness at all times, and especially in sickness.
