1.

My story is a kind of riddle, so I want you to guess who I'm talking about.

Okay.

He was born on 25 August 1930.

His first name is Tomas but he is well-known with his middle name.

He gave up to go to school when he was 13 to help his family when his father had lost his job.

His first job was a milkman, then, at 16 he applied and joined The Royal Navy which he retired because of some problem of health.

After that, he used to work as an unskilled labourer, a lorry driver, a lifeguard, an artist's model for the College of Art, a constraction worker, a road worker.

He made furniture and even worked as a coffin polisher.

He was spending his leisure time in the gym and achieved quite a good result when once he got a bronze medal in Mr.Universe contest.

After that he was invited to play in a movie and became a movie star very soon.

He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables in 1988.

Any versions?

He was knighted in July 2000.

He is best known for a role of a famous spy but I saw him firstly in The Highlander movie where he played a role of a spanish nobleman.

Later I saw him in The Name of Rose and The Rock movies, and these are my favourite his roles.

I'm not a fan of his but I like his playing manner and his image of a clever and wise old man.

Now he is 85. He lives on Bahamas and doesn't appear in public at all.

The appointment of Knight Bachelor (Kt) is a part of the British honours system.

It is the most basic and lowest rank of a man who has been knighted by the monarch but not as a member of one of the organised Orders of Chivalry. Knights Bachelor are the most ancient sort of British knight (the rank existed during the 13th century reign of King Henry III), but Knights Bachelor rank below knights of the various orders.
