This supplement contains expressions of disagreement taken from original English and American literuture.

As a rule they are preceeded by phrases of the type: "I am sorry…”, "I am afraid...”

I. Partial Disagreement

1. I’m afraid you are not quite right…

2. You are right in a way…, but…

3. You are right to some extent …, but…

4. I am afraid I can’t quite agree with you…

5. I’m afraid I can’t quite agree with what you are saying…

6. I agree with you on the whole…, but…

7. I agree with your point about …, but…

8. I agree with you up to a point, but…

9. Sorry, but that's not quite how I see it...

10. I see things somewhat differently, I am afraid.

11. Yes, I see your point…., but…

12. I sее your point…, but…

13. You are absolutely correct in saying that…, but…

14. Certainly it's true that…, but...

II. Complete Disagreement

1. I am afraid I disagree…

2. Sorry, I entirely disagree with you.

3. I'm sorry, but I completely disagree.

4. I am sorry, but I really can’t agree with you on that.

5. Sorry, I don’t see it your way at all.

6. I'm afraid I think otherwise.

7. Sorry, you couldn't be more wrong.
