Энни не устраивало состояние её кухни, и для начала она решила постелить на пол новый линолеум.
Хоть у нее и не было опыта такой работы, Энни подумала, что это ей будет не трудно сделать самой.
Купив линолеум и специальный клей, Энни принялась за дело и вскоре вся поверхность пола в кухне была густо намазана этим клеем.
После этого Энни поволокла рулон линолеума из прихожей в кухню.
Однако она не рассчитывала, что рулон будет такой тяжелый.
Пытаясь не уронить его, Энни оступилась и упала прямо на кухонный пол, в клей, запачкав руки и ноги.
Боясь, что клей на полу может засохнуть, и тогда работу придется начинать с начала, Энни решила сначала расстелить линолеум, а потом уже избавиться от клея на руках.
Через несколько минут она закончила с линолеумом и взяла телефон, чтобы позвонить своему другу и узнать, как убрать с кожи клей.
Каков же был её ужас, когда она поняла, что телефонная трубка приклеилась к её ладони.
В то же время, другая её ладонь прилипла к её ноге, а ноги крепко приклеились к стулу.
Энни с трудом дозвонилась до службы спасения. Номер ей пришлось набирать носом.
Приехавшие пожарные помогли Энни избавиться от клея.

Unfortunately, she hadn't enough money for a full redecoration, so she thought that putting new vinyl on the floor would be good enough for the beginning.
Anne wasn't an expert in putting vinyl on the floor but she thought that it would be a big deal to do it by herself.
Having bought the vinyl and the special glue, she started up and covered every inch of the kitchen floor with the glue quite soon.
Reckoning the vynil as easy to make deal with, Anne grabbed it and drew into the kitchen.
She was trying to keep balance and not to drop the vynil when she took a false step and fell down onto the glued floor getting her hands and legs smeared.
Being afraid that the glue would dry up on the floor and she would have to start her work again, Anne decided to put the vynil on the floor at first and then to get rid of the glue on the hands and legs.
It took her 10 minutes to manage with the vynil and then she tried to call her friends to get to know how to clear her skin of the glue.
What was her horror, when she realized that the phone stuck to her hand.
At the same time, her other hand was glued to her knee and her legs stuck to the chair firmly.
Anne hardly called 911 dialing the number with her nose.
Fortunately, the arrived firemen could help Anne get rid of the glue.

Anne wants to put new vinyl on her kitchen floor. It is a small floor, so Anne thinks, 'This is an easy job. I can do it myself'.
First, Anne spreads glue on the floor.Then she carries in the vinyl.
Whoops! She falls down. She falls right into the glue. The glue is on Anne's hands and legs, but Anne doesn't stop to clean it off.
'I can clean the glue off later,' Anne thinks. She wants to put down the vinyl before the glue on the floor dries.
Quickly, Anne puts the vinyl on the floor. It looks great. 'That was easy!' Anne thinks.
Now Anne remembers the glue on her hands and legs. How can she take it off?
She sits down and calls a friend. 'Do you know how to clean off glue?' she asks her friend.
'Sorry,' her friend says. 'I don't know.'
'Well, thanks anyway,' Anne says. 'Bye.'
When she finishes talking, Anne tries to hang up phone. She can't. Her right handis glued to the phone.
Then she tries to stand up. She can't. Her legs are glued to the chair. Anne needs help. She tries to dial 911 with her left hand. She can't.
Her left hand is glued to her left leg. She dials 911 with her nose.
Firefighters arrive. Firefighters usually fight fires - they don't usually fight glue.
But they know what to do. They have a special cleaner. It takes off glue. Three firefighters clean the glue off Anne. It takes them one hour.
It is not an easy job!
