Tina Sawaya: This is what I first saw

R: Unlike most job seekers it took only week for twenty-seven year old Tina Sawaya to find a teaching job. The catch? The job is in Shanghai.

It's a move she's eager to make since she currently juggles a teaching job and waiting tables to make ends meet.

T: In China I'll be making about two thousand dollars US a month, erm, but the cost of living is about three hundred dollars a month.

They provide me with Health Insurance which is huge right now also.

R: Sawaya started teaching two years ago something she always wanna to do.

She had been working as an investment manager but when the economy and her workload grew without more pay she switched careers.

Now she finds herself in a profession skill back by badget cut in cities and states across the US.

T: Years ago when I started thinking about teaching abroad it was equal to the United States. It was like Ok I'm doing that in the United States and I can do some thing in China.

R: Now

T: Now, it ... it's a better opportunity .. to go abroad.

R: And she's not alone. The company that hire Tina, English First, reported 30 per cent increase in applications.

A simular recruter "Reach to teach" says it's seen more applicants for positions in China, Taiwan and South Korea.

It's typical to say just how many American were seeking work over sea since there are no hard numbers.

And it's totally some recruting firms report an increase executives and managers looking East particulary towards China.

Robert Damon: What's going on and it is really incredible if you think about it, wouldn't anybody work in a country where GDP grow on 9 per cent is considered slow.

R: Robert Damon of Korn/Ferry International says there's been demand for infrastructure work consumer and industrial products in China.

Not all job seekers were out of work but rather some are seeking adventure. Adventure is part of Tina Sawaya is looking for. But she says concerns over the economy are dominating many people her age.

T: We're believing our government, everything is gonna pa.. out soon. It's just a rough time. Erm, but ... at this point ... I think you gather doing that is .. for you to survive. Erm, and .. it's kind of what I'm doing.

R: Mary Snow, CNN, New-York.

T: I mean, the place where I work is higher than .. House
