    • positive attitude

    • healthy lifestyle

    • use of time

Some opinions expressed in the discussion:

    • It can make young people overly competitive, then they don't help each other ot learn to cooperate.

    • It's good to exercise because a healthy body means a healthy mind - winning's irrelevant.

    • It takes up too much time and takes young people away from more important things like studying.

At the very beginning I would like to say that, in my opinion, competition during every children's activity is a key factor of their development. It is known that Nature uses competition as the main method for making evolution to proceed. Thus, not only do children unconsciously aspire to be stronger and cleverer than others but also learn how to always hold their own which surely will stand them in good stead in the future.

So, I believe that kids have positive outlook to any tournament due to being instinctively stimulated. As far as their life will generally be a lifelong race, I suppose that their attitude to everyday routine will be as positive as to contests which obviously makes their living brighter and happier.

As an additional bonus, young people who take enough physical exercises and participate in team sport will certainly become healthier. Besides, as the old saying goes, the mind is sound in a sound body, so, their mind will be agile and creative. I think that if kids get accustomed for fun, games and sport, they will keep on that way all their life.

In conclusion, I want to outline that they are optimism and healthy lifestyle which are the most tremendous values that competition can bring about in children's lives. I deem that a habit of playing and competing all the time can add another string to their bow making them to be light-hearted, outgoing and confident.
