Families who do not send their children to government-financed schools should not be required to pay taxes that support universal education.

1.

I suppose that families should pay taxes even if they do not send their children to state schools.

As far as I know, there is no special educational tax in this country as well as in other countries, so it would be necessary to make a special law for this purpose.

This situation can lead to very negative effects on the public administration, public services and the country's economics.

If the government have to make special educational taxes it would have to make separate taxes for all public services too.

Consequently, the number of laws, subordinate acts and taxes would grow tremendously which, in its turn, would demand to set up many new supervising and regulatory authorities.

Obviously, the bureaucracy would increase enormously.

This fact would lead the country to a high level of government expenditure and also, very possible, to a widespread corruption.

As a result, the cost of living would rise while the quality of public administration and public services would be vastly reduced.

In this situation, the economics grow would slow down.

Thus, families, who do not send their children to government-financed schools because their children study at public schools, would bear many additional expenses on living and on the federal and municipal services.

In conclusion, I would like to say that, in my opinion, it is not a good idea to have many taxes of certain purposes because it can complicate public administration.

Nothing is certain but death and taxes, as the old saying goes. So, everybody has to pay taxes. How these taxes should be spent is a more interesting question, but it is another story.
