Which aspect of our daily lives has been affected most by technology

    • communication

    • relationship

    • working life

Opinions

    • It's great to be able to communicate with people 24 hours a day

    • It's so hard to make personal relationships - everyone's online all the time

    • People have an easier working life becuase they can work from home

1. off-the-cuff

I believe wholeheartedly, it is comminication that has been influenced most by recent scientific achievements. Being a keystone of society, it unavoidably alters other aspects of our lives, for instance, personal relationships and working routine.

True is it, modern technologies have tremendously changed the ways which people connect each other. I suppose that the Internet can be considered as the main life-changer since it has brought us the web, social networking, online shopping and many others things without which it seems to be impossible to exist. The same can be said about cellular phones. It is hard to imagine how I got along without my smartphone only fifteen years ago not being able to call my friends or my boss if it was needed to.

Almost 100 years ago Charlie Chaplin made a very funny movie "Modern Times" where he tried to foresee how people's working life would be affected by new technologies. As a matter of fact, they have drawn most workforce from the fields and factories to the offices. Consequently, not only people were saved from gruelling labor but also given mind-developing jobs where they would rather use their creativity and inventiveness than phisical strenght and stamina.

Concluding, I would like to say that the more science and technology have been improving, the greatly they impact our everyday existence and, first of all, among all other aspects, the ways of communication.
