Ramya was a guy who worked as a waiter.

Every day after work he took a bus and went home.

Once he went into a bus as usual and took an empty seat just behind the driver.

The bus got started and went along the street when Ramya realized that the driver droopped his head to the right and seemed not to drive the bus at all.

Ramya went up to the driver and find out him lost consciousness while the uncontrolled bus was driving faster.

Then Ramya unsuccessfully tried to lift the driver as the guideless bus went even a lot faster.

It seemed that the driver's foot still pressed the accelerator pedal.

Then Ramya held the steering wheel and took control over the bus.

After that he kicked the driver's foot down from the pedal and put on the brake smoothly.

The ambulance was called for the driver and all of the passengers were thanking Ramya to be safe and sound.

So once a waiter could become a hero saving people's lives.

The bus was going along the street when Ramya realized that the driver droopped his head to the right and seemed not to be driving the bus at all.

Then Ramya instinctively tried to sit the driver up as the bus went even faster.

The driver's foot seemed to be still pressing the accelerator pedal.

After that he took the driver's foot away from the pedal and pressed the brake smoothly with his foot.

The ambulance was called for and all passengers were thanking Ramya for their being safe and sound.

So this is how a waiter became a hero by saving other people's lives.

Orig.

RAMYA is a waiter. He works at a restaurant from eight o'clock in the morning to four o'clock in the afternoon.

One day at four o'clock Ramya leaves work and gets on a bus to go home. He sits down behind the bus driver.

Suddenly the bus driver leans forward. His head is almost to the floor. Ramya jumps up. "Are you OK, sir?" he asks the bus driver. The bus driver doesn't answer.

The bus is going fast now, and nobody is driving it. Ramya pulls on the bus driver. He tries to pull him out of the driver's seat. But the bus driver is a big man. Ramya can't move him.

Now the bus is going really fast. Ramya has to stop the bus! He puts his hands on the steering wheel. He puts his left foot on the brake. He drives the bus to the right side of the street. Slowly, he stops the bus.

An ambulance arrives and takes the bus driver to the hospital. All the passengers on the bus are OK.

Ramya works at a restaurant. He is a waiter. But one day, for ten minutes, Ramya was a bus driver — a bus driver and a hero.

A kind of essay:

When I read this story I recollected two quite similar situations in which I was a first-hand participant.

Once my collegue lost consciousness amid a working day in the office.

The second time I was in the gym when one of the exercising people lost consciousness abruptly.

I was exactly near the unconscious person in the both situations and my first instinctive action is trying to stand the person back.

Then in a few seconds I realized uselessness of my efforts and I tried to help the body just not to fall down which was quite hard because of the weight of the person.

So when I've read the story I'm thinking of what I would do if I were Ramya.

Certainly I would try to help to stop the bus but when I'm going to think of my possible actions in the same situation I'm getting sure that Ramya was a very lucky person as he stopped the bus successfully having no injured person.

The first reason why it is so is that buses are usually equipped with different things preventing any access into the driver's cabin from the passengers' part of the bus.

The second reason is that as I know how heavy would be an unconscious body because all of its musles were weaked I hardly can imagine that it would be easy to move the driver's body from his seat. What's more, the driver cabins usually quite narrow and it would hardly be easy to move the driver's body to anywhere.

The third reason why I believe Ramya as a very lucky person is that taking control over the bus is very difficult to a person who isn't used to control that kind of vehicle.

A lot harder for him would be blind finding of the accelerator pedal while the driver's body still would prevent access to the steering wheel and th pedals.

The forth and final reason is that the bus went along the city street flowing up with other vehicles so Ramya could somehow manage to avoid an accident.

To sum up I would like to say that Ramya turned out to be a kind of a professional rescuer.

I even think that he would be a retired special forces soldier who couldn't find a better job after returning from Vietnam, Iraq or Afganistan as we can see in Hollywood movies.

Frankly speaking I believe that the real name of Ramya was Bruce Willis.

When I read this story I recollected two quite similar situations happened with me.

One day my colleague lost his consciousness in the office.

The second time I was in the gym when one of the exercisers lost his consciousness.

At that time I successfully caught the man before he struck the floor and firstly I instictively tried to put him upright.

Then in a few seconds I realized uselessness of my efforts and I tried to support the body just not to let it fall down which was quite hard because the body was heavy.

So when I read the story I thought of what I would do if I were in Ramya's shoes.

Certainly I would try to help to stop the bus but when I'm going to think of my possible actions in the similar situation I'm sure that Ramya was in luck when he stopped the bus successfully without casualties.

The first reason why it is so is that passengers' access to the driver's cabin is usually limited.

The second reason is that as I know how heavy an unconscious person would be because all of its musles were weakened I can hardly imagine that it would be easy to move the driver's body from his seat. What's more, the driver cabins are usually quite too narrow to be moved the driver's body to anywhere easily.

The third reason why I believe Ramya was in luck is that taking control over the bus is very difficult to a person who isn't used to control that kind of vehicle. It would be harder for him to blind find the accelerator pedal while the driver's body would still prevent access to the steering wheel and the pedals.

The fourth and final reason is that the bus was running along the city street packed up with other vehicles so Ramya could somehow manage to avoid an accident.

To sum up I would like to say that Ramya turned out to be a kind of a professional rescuer.

I think that he would be a retired special forces soldier who couldn't find a better job after returning from Vietnam, Iraq or Afganistan as Hollywood movies feed us with.

Frankly speaking after all these thoughts I believe that Ramya's real name was Bruce Willis.
