Mary’s Praise (YC No 155)

Sharing with Mary in praises of thankfulness

We can acknowledge the joy that she knew;

She was so young and surrounded with fearfulness,

Yet she believed that her calling was true.

 “My soul is glad for I know in my lowliness

God has remembered me so graciously;

People forever will speak of my happiness,

Knowing what God has accomplished for me”

 “God scatters all of the proud in their haughtiness;

Kings are brought down and the humble set high;

Those who are hungry are fed with great tenderness;

Those who are rich are expressly passed by.”

Sharing with Mary in praises of thankfulness,

Can we believe that God wishes the best

For all the poor and those pestered with heaviness;                      

As we show love then God’s wish is expressed.
