All will be well (Vol 1 No 50)
The faith I acknowledge, beliefs that I own
Can guide and direct me in pathways unknown;
Can lighten my burden when feeling alone;
Inspiring forgiveness when insults are thrown.
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
When our faith holds us fast.
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
When the struggle is past.
When kindness and love blend with patience and peace,
Then God will be found and our hope will increase.
We watch perseverance when courage runs out,
When nature inflicts us with fire and with drought,
When pain and distress that disease brings about,
Endurance prevails in the grip of great doubt.
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
Be defiant and brave.
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
Never bow to the grave.
When threatened by fear we can still sing a song;
Then God is discovered. In God we belong.
The generous creation with life in each cell,
Where creatures in plenty have homes where they dwell,
When care and compassion fill stories we tell,
The final disclosure states, “All will be well.”
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
We are blest without cause.
Shout aloud. Sing for joy.
Giving sacred applause.
With grateful remembrance, in peace we abide;
We share in this bounty. In God we reside.
