Struggling with loneliness (Vol 1 No 64)
Struggling with loneliness (Vol 1 No 64)
The struggle in our loneliness
To see a friendly light
Brings pain and stress; it leaves us weak;
We live in endless night!
And in the darkness, there we weep;
We seek tranquility;
We sometimes even wish that death
Might ease our agony.
If we but look within our soul
We’ll find a friendly place;
For there we reach God’s loving strength
And know a saving grace.
With such companionship we move
To places yet unknown;
Acceptance is from God - a gift;
We need not feel alone.
