Statement 13 (Vol 4 No 34)
Humanity, with or without religion, searches for a deepening awareness of what our spirituality can mean, and the ways the human spirit can be enlisted in the processes of human growth and development.
Humanity, with or without religion, searches for a deepening awareness of what our spirituality can mean, and the ways the human spirit can be enlisted in the processes of human growth and development.
We seek for wisdom, that which is profound –
More than religious, not from sight or sound;
We search for deeper meanings that surround
Our human spirit – where real life is found;
Where love and virtue, hope and truth abound.
We seek awareness of our spirit core;
Of that within which prompts us to adore;
Of that within which dares us to explore
The hidden myst’ries of life’s sacred store;
Then we fall silent as we kneel in awe.
We would enlist the spirit’s energy
In vital growth of human dignity,
To build, develop greater harmony,
To breed and nourish creativity,
And thus to forge a better destiny.
