All belong (Vol 2 No 99)

All of creation praise with a song;

Our tiny planet goes spinning along.Sun, moon and stars, they all have their place

In a small corner of endless space.

Chorus

All is so precious, each is a part

Of the great myst’ry deep in God’s heart;

All is so precious right from the start;

Staying for ever deep in God’s heart.

All of the atoms* forming each bone,

Every electron* that makes up a stone,

Mountains and rivers, flowers and weeds

Come from the ‘Big Bang’**; so do the seeds.

Chorus

Fish that can swim and birds that can fly,

Animals, humans, include you and I,All are connected, and do belong;Even the weak and even the strong.

Chorus

*Atoms and electrons are tiny particles of matter, far too small for us to see.

**The ‘Big Bang’ is the name given by scientists for the explosion which started the whole universe creative evolutionary process
