As we come in celebration
We remember Jesus’ call;
Full of hope – our proclamation
‘God is in and over all.’
In this faith, with expectation,
We move on, and through it all
God is there; God’s inspiration
Will restore us if we fall.
Plans and dreams of real advances
Fill our minds with energy;
May we search for what enhances
Every form of ministry;
New beginnings bring us chances
To pursue new strategy,
Partner God in untried dances,
Sing a daring melody.
As we journey on together
May we foster and sustain
Bonds of good-will with each other,
Bonds that constantly remain;
As we risk with sister, brother
To proclaim and live God’s reign,
May our wisdom take us further
Into love and God’s domain.
