Jesus’ great love is the way I am lifted on high;
I will follow him;

It comes to us when we fall;
Jesus’ great love is the way we are lifted on high.
When on the cross with great pain he was lifted to die;
He suffered there;
When on the cross his forgiveness and pardon were
Offered in a prayer;
His love shone through;
Was there for us all to view;
His love we know
Was there for his violent foe
When on the cross in great pain he was lifted to die.
When we love others, like Jesus we lift them in life,
And hold them there;
When we show love we lift sisters and brothers and
we can hold them there;
Live as we pray
And walk in the Jesus’ way;
Then we will be
A gracious community;
When we love others, like Jesus we lift them in life.
