Life has its loveliness, passion and splendour –

We can but ponder with thanks and with praise;

Life in its tenderness sets the agenda

If we let hopefulness fashion our ways.

Treasure all gentleness;

Cherish each happiness;

Live with compassion, acceptance and grace;

Let all our actions be covered with beauty;

Love will then flourish in God’s deep embrace.

Caught in adversity, when life is testing,

Sometimes we falter and fall by the way;

Then, when encouragement quietens protesting,

Strength can return; we can face the next day.

Practise warm sympathy;

Give others dignity;

Live with compassion, acceptance and grace;

Let all our actions be covered with beauty;

Love will then flourish in God’s deep embrace.

In life’s perplexity we need much guidance;

Learn from a man who came from Galilee;

Jesus lived life with exceeding abundance;

Follow his leading to build harmony.

Value all worthiness;

Journey with eagerness;

Live with compassion, acceptance and grace;

Let all our actions be covered with beauty;

Love will then flourish in God’s deep embrace.
