The beauty of each sight and sound

Are wonders to behold;

But harshness and the tragic come;

Uncertainties unfold.

Does chaos reign?  Is order here?

Does chance have much control?

We learn and understand in part

But cannot grasp the whole.

The puzzle of all life and death,

We ponder without end;

Our many answers point to what

We cannot comprehend.

When living with uncertainty

We need support to still

Anxiety and stress which drain

Our strength and our good-will.

Confront the myst’ry; we can’t tell

Whence comes our joy and grief;

We can however share the load;

Bring comfort and relief.
