This index has listed the Gospel passages from the Revised Common Lectionary for which new lyrics have been written. Sometimes there are particular verses within the passage that are emphasised while at other times the whole of the lectionary passage is used as the basis of the lyrics. This has been identified. On some occasions the recommended reading is not used at all. Open the link above to view the list of readings and where in the website the associated lyrics can be accessed - Year A, Year B or Year C and the number given to the lyrics.
Other new lyrics about the Bible, particularly the parables of Jesus, can be found in appropriate sections of the 4 General Volumes.
