Gives our life a zip;

Helps reach our potential;

Stops us losing grip;

Helps front every hardship

With some healing grace.

We can sing in worship

With a smiling face.

Have you heard the rumour?

God was heard to joke!

Has a sense of humour

Like all normal folk.

Can you just imagine

Having lots of fun,

God says, with a broad grin,

“Have you heard this one?”

“If you’ve heard it stop me;

I don’t wish to bore;

As I’m not too busy

I could share lots more.

We should laugh together;

Now’s the time and place.”

We can always worship

With a smiling face.
