When I put my hands down low

I can easily say ‘Hello’.

When I stretch my hands out wide

I can touch hands near my side.

When I put my hands up high

I might also shout “Goodbye.”

When I wave my hands about

I might sing or even shout;

I can keep my hands quite still

It is hard.   But, “Yes I will.”

When my hands are on my head

I can think of what I’ve said.

And on a different plane.

In the mountains and the sea

God is everywhere to see;

God is always very near;

God is there and God is here;

God is with me when I’m sad;

God is happy when I’m glad
