God is the Heart of all, the Sacred Core,

The One beyond all language and all speech,

Source of all love, the ever open Door,

The Light that shines, the Love within our reach,

The Bread of life, the Strength of gentleness;

God is the Prompting of our gratefulness.

God is the One implanted in us all,

The Sacredness of body, mind and soul,

The Driving Energy of all our dreams,

The Perseverance when we lose control,

The Silent Patience in the trials we face;

God is our Strength and God our kindly Grace.

God is Forgiveness and the Second Chance,

The Hope we need when all is dark and gloom,

The Restoration when we sink or fall,

Unfolding Faith that breaks forth from the tomb;

Forever bless’d, we know the feeling sweet;

Returning home - the welcome is complete.

God is the Invitation to live life

With vigour and with unaffected joy,

The Strong Conviction and Belief to build,

To reconcile, not conquer nor destroy.

God is the Presence in our unity;

God is the Promise and our Destiny.
