We are all blest (Vol 4 No 67)
We are all blest; our life is so amazing
And we rejoice when beauty fills the scene;
When clouds roll past and when the sun is blazing
We ponder what there also is unseen.
We sing with joy in gratitude and awe
For life and love; for life and love;
We sing with joy; so much we can adore
In life and love, in life and love.
The earth around and nature so entrancing
They both are there to carefully enjoy;
The birds and beasts and trees in breezes dancing –
A beauty given we must not destroy.
We sing with joy in gratitude and awe;
When Jesus lived he taught us by his giving;
A life and death of deep integrity;
And when we follow – practise more forgiving
We then enrich our true humanity.
We sing with joy in gratitude and awe;
And in the future let us all acknowledge
Each word of peace and every deed of grace;
For when we strive to be love’s living language
We then can leave this world a better place.
We sing with joy in gratitude and awe;
