Statement 3 (Vol 4 No 24)

‘God’ is the focus of our search for that sublimity beyond the banal, for the spiritual significance beyond the physicality and mentalisation of human experience.  This focus provokes us to explore the heights of human possibilities and discover the strengths in human anxiety and pain.

‘God’ is the focus of out search,  We strain

For that which is beyond our mortal mind;

Our search continues in both joy and pain

For strengths and values found in humankind;

With ‘God’ the focus, we explore the height

Of human worth; we search for more insight.

‘God’ is the focus of our search for life;

We can discover courage as we grow;

Through all our happiness and strife

We are provoked to probe, to seek to know

The ways of triumph in our anxious world;

For ways that joy can surely be unfurled.

‘God’ is the focus of our search today;

For that sublime and spirit-filled Shalom;

Beyond the banal, in inspiring way

Unto the spirit where hope finds its home;

Our search has meaning, and with ‘God’ its core

Gives life deep purpose as our spirits soar.
