Our lasting home (Vol 1 No 66)
Our lasting home (Vol 1 No 66)
Walking the journey of our life
With fragile steps and slow,
We find compassion and good-will
Can ease the tears that flow.
It is as though we hear a voice -
“Please do remember me
With thankfulness and gratitude;
Then set my spirit free.”
Just as the darkness welcomes light -
The sun begins to show;
May grieving souls from gloom emerge,
And taste again life’s glow.
In God we live; in God we move;
From God we sometimes roam;
But in God’s endless love we die,
And find our lasting home.
