Bring hope and foster grace;

Compassion is where God is found;

Where dreams and deeds embrace.

Compassion is God’s autograph;

The symbol of God’s reign;

Tis written on our human hearts

To challenge and sustain.

These letters spell God’s word of love

For comfort and support;

Compassion guides to gentleness

Of action and of thought.

Compassion beckons us to bring

God’s kingdom here today;

Confirmed by all that Jesus did;

His life shows us the way.
