The spirit of the living God
Is sensed with great delight
At every time, in every place,
In every sound and sight.
Creation and humanity
Recite the constant word
That God is ever to be found
In all that’s seen and heard.
This sacred essence is at hand
Incarnate in each seed;
This spirit is so clearly seen
In every loving deed.
A gen’rous deed, and justice done,
And rainbows up above,
The caring for a new born babe
Remind us: God is love.
This sacred myst’ry, all around,
Is with us every day;
The challenge is to play our part
In all we do and say.
