In Jesus Christ, the un-named God is known
In human form, in common flesh and bone.
God is revealed in ways we understand;
Divine and human, shown as hand-in-hand.
Not only as our mentor, but as Friend,
Christ shows us love; so hard to comprehend;
God so revealed, we do not need to fear
The one who loves, who holds us very dear.
God, shown by Christ, is forceful, firm and strong.
Confronts the fakes who try to hide their wrong.
Exposes pride and shallow piety,
The worthlessness of false humility.
Christ, in his life, displays what we can be;
He demonstrates our true humanity.
With joy, compassion, kindness, strength and grace,
He shows us all the beauty of our race.
Christ is a human picture of our God.
He’s not removed. He treads where we have trod.
Christ is a godly picture for us all;
