Those Who Believe

Mark 16 teaches miracles would follow those who believe. Pentecostals say this is all believers. The context however leads me to conclude those who believe are the apostles.

The apostles had gone from non-belief to fully believing in the risen Christ.

Mar 16:11  And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

Mar 16:13  And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

Mar 16:14  Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

The Apostles then went from unbelief to fully believing.

Jesus blessed them by acknowledging their transformation.

Mar 16:17  And these signs shall follow them that believe;

That believe is present tense. It is speaking of the disciples then transformed.

If meant for all ages Paul wouldn't have said tongues would cease.

Also compare Luke's account, it says Jesus blessed them (The disciples present)
