Light Before Stars

One question of science is how did light get from stars a million light years away if the earth is only a few thousand years old? It is an old question among those who limit God's ability to natural processes.

Even among religious people who believe in creation, they may doubt to the point that they offer natural explanations for creation. It was a Jesuit priest that put forth the big bang theory. The idea of an expanding universe that started from one center point.

The Jesuit, though appearing to be smart and educated, had become faithless concerning God's power.

The Genesis account provides a set of circumstances that makes the Genesis creation story possible without scientific explanation, if you believe God could create instant flowing light and control it.

Light was made first,  but God separated the light and darkness.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

It shows God can control and contain light. This is important because we see light similar to a pandoras box, once let out it is uncontrollable. God can control light, however. So when God made the lights in the heavens he could control the light so that it automatically appeared.

It doesn't say he made stars, but lights, and they appeared for an immediate purpose.

Gen 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Gen 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Gen 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

God permitted the lights to shine immediately.

God can create light, light sources, and contain or permit the light to appear.

Extra-biblical creation science is only necessary if you dis-believe God's power to totally control our universe.
