investigation

The timeline of George Papadopoulos communications and the Trump investigation are important.

With every investigation is the possibility things will be opened up we did not expect.

So, was the George Papadopoulos inquiry meant to prove collaboration between Trump and Russia or meant to silence GP in the Hillary investigation? How was it really used? Mueller should be given these options so he can look for obstruction in the State Dept and the FBI.

Since GP was given info from a Russian professor in Mid march, that Hillary's emails were picked up by Russia (A foreign government), this should have been used to widen the probe into Hillary's emails, the information was ignored and the investigation was dropped June 5, 2016.

Backing up a bit to January we see the State dept was investigating, but their work was helping Hillary keep the content of emails out of the news while also avoiding prosecution.

"On Jan. 29, the State Department said 22 emails sent or received by Clinton had been upgraded to top secret at U.S. intelligence agency's request and would not be made public as part of the release of thousands of Clinton's emails. It said that none of the emails was marked classified when sent."

This allowed them to protect Hillary and then keep the emails from public view. There is no way to verify the content after being made top-secret. Since, at the time of email, they were not labeled Hillary could not be prosecuted, not for those 22 emails, anyway.

Yet, before April 1 the state department was asked to drop their Hillary inquiry pending an FBI criminal investigation into Hillary. The FBI made the request, (Likely Peter Strzok), and in April the State Department ceased their investigation. From this point no one could refer to it as a matter, it was a criminal investigation.

At the time, the department also said it would conduct an internal review on whether the information in the emails was classified at the time it passed through Clinton's private clintonemail.com account run on a server in her New York home.

The department consulted the FBI about this in February, and in March the law enforcement agency asked the State Department to halt its inquiry.

"The FBI communicated to us that we should follow our standard practice, which is to put our internal review on hold while there is an ongoing law enforcement investigation," State Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau told reporters.

Dropping the investigation with word coming out that a foreign govt had other emails would be irresponsible. Also, there is evidence the State Department was already aiding Hillary by classifying emails after the fact to prohibit public viewing.

Also, it shows that Obama's request to know what the FBI was doing, once the State Department dropped the internal investigation, it shows he wanted to be directly informed.

They shut down a different investigation which left all documentation and any new findings in the hands of Peter Strzok. Pretty smart if you want to control all outcomes.

A judge saying there was impropriety should be prima facie to open Hillary investigation, and investigations into how the FBI and State Department aided Hillary.

Two judges have allowed a group suing for Clinton's records to seek sworn testimony from officials. On Tuesday, one judge said there was "evidence of government wrongdoing and bad faith" over the arrangement.
