I Pledge Allegiance

Christian groups are often offended that the pledge of allegience is left out of schools, though it does mention God being over the land it is also a document stemming from a distinct theology, that God instituted his rule from Protestants from the Church of England.

It also has a very bad statement.

"Indivisable"

in·di·vis·i·ble/ˌindəˈvizəbəl/

unable to be divided

It can be seen as a statement of fact but also as a general wish, it just depends upon how you read it. It is the idea God can't divide or replace American government, which is very bold.

It is also a general with that America would fall under one Christian rule, under the powers that then existed.

Should Americans be forced under protestant rule? I don't think it is a good idea and the idea God can't divide something is fairly blasphemous in my view. Especially since we have no direct statement that the flag of America is greater than any other flag in God's hands.

We shouldn't concede that protestants had God's Kingdom cornered as if it was theirs to pass out.

America was founded on Christian principles and grew to be Christian generally, it worked out that one group did not have complete control, that is a good thing if you believe some sects aren't necessarily on course theologically.

I don't believe God wanted a unified America under the Church of England or unified under faith only. Though for 200 years some men have tried to create it. God may allow it for a time but in the end the beast and the false prophet will be destroyed.
