Hello,
My name is Mark and I rode with a Lucan LCRC team mate Declan yesterday at the An Post, Tour of Waterford for the guts of 120KM with the lads from Youghal Cycling Club.I wanted to send all at the club an email thanking you for a brilliant day and the shelter of the big group helped us out hugely as there were only 2 of us and that wind was blowing strong all day.
ALL the lads were an absolute pleasure to cycle with and speak with and made our day very memorable even though we all spent most of the day towing large groups of up to 60 people with only us and the Youghal boys doing turns on the front.
If only more clubs in Ireland had the team spirit and the mentality that Youghal Cycling Club have, cycling in clubs would be a great place to be and all the guys were a credit to their club.
Good luck in the remainder of 2010 and hopefully the club goes from strength to strength over the coming years!!!!

Hi
I would like to thank everyone in Youghal Cycling Club for allowing my son Chris Mintern to train with them this summer.Chris is a junior triathlete and his bike was his weakest discipline but now after 8 weeks of training with Youghal he now feels stronger and faster.Chris is presently in Portugal training for the European Youth Triathlon Championships which will be held on Sunday 29th August in Portugal.
It is a great honour for Chris to be selected for the Irish Youth Team and again thanks to Youghal for the major improvement with his bike. I would also like to thank Brian Sanders and Eoin White for the advice,experience,and all the help they gave to Chris on the Tue & Thur spins .
