Youghal Cycling Club Notes – Sunday 4th November 2012

Club Spins On a wet and windy Sunday morning our three regular groups met as normal at Moby Dicks for the weekly club spins. First group to leave town were the high milers. A handy group of 10 cyclists headed off towards Tallow. From here they went to Fermoy and onto Rathcormac, before turning back to Youghal with a respectable 100km on the legs, average speed 28kph. Next to roll out of town was the 18 strong intermediate group. Keeping it flat the group kept to the main road and did a straight line route to Carrigtwohill and back. They covered a nice 70km route averaging 24kph. Finally the 10am group rolled out of town with a nice crew of 7 riders. The also kept it in East Cork and took in a 40km route averaging 22kph. Same again next week folks!
