YOUGHAL CYCLING CLUB NOTES 12th December 2010

Where on the road again !! - Sunday 12th December

The club got back to business last Sunday when the roads finally thawed out. A group of 12 gathered at Moby Dicks for a 9.00am start. The route for the morning was a loop around west Waterford. We departed out the main road to Waterford and climbed steady up to the Shanachie before dropping fast down into Dungarvan. From there we rode the good road to Cappoquin where we stopped for Coffee. Suitability refreshed, we headed off for Lismore and Tallow and then tackled the final climb out the day out of Tallow on the Youghal road. As usual, the boy Healy had to be controlled up the climb as he was so bulling to take off and then as we made our decent, Wayne, clicked it up into the big ring and motored home to Youghal leaving everyone in his wake. Don’t be late again for dinner Wayne !
