Sportif Waterford CC and Down Syndrome Waterford are proud to present the Three Counties Challenge sportives, which will take place on Saturday August 13th next. We have 2 routes on offer, and both will be started simultaneously at 10am sharp by the Mayor of Waterford Alderman Pat Hayes in John Roberts Square in the city centre.

Both routes will travel through counties Waterford, Kilkenny, and Tipperary before arriving back in Waterford at the finish. The 155k route will take in the magnificent 7k climb of the Vee in the Knockmealdown mountains, and will include 2 foodstops, the first being in Clonmel and the latter being in Dungarvan before the fast return cycle along the N25 to the Finish. The 65k route takes in the Chapel hill climb out of Portlaw and includes one foodstop in Carrick on Suir, before again returning home along bthe N25 from Carrolls cross. Both routes will finish in the Regional Sports Centre which is across the road from the new Aldi shop on the Cork road. Food and drinks will again be available here to assist in the after event recovery.

Registration for both routes is €20 and will take place in the start area from 9am onwards. The first 200 entrants will receive a wool beanie hat as a momento of the occasion. Changing facilities and hot showers will also be available at the finish, along with no cost all day car parking in the RSC from 8am onwards.

Please come along and support this very worthy charity who will receive 100% of the funds raised on the day.
