BUSINESS: Installation of officers, year end reports, discussion of budget. No budget information was received for this newsletter.

DECEMBER BASH

Thanks to Ken and Rose Mary Baier for hosting the annual Christmas Party again. It was a good time and lots of fun and of course, the food was mmmmmmmm!!! We personally know of 2 member couples that snuck out early to attend the Kenny Rogers Christmas Concert held on the same night.

MEETING LOCATIONS FOR 2004

Carol Addeo is organizing the meeting locations for the new year. Anyone wishing to host a meeting at their home should call her at 251-5833. Please leave a message if she's not available.

Anyone wishing to volunteer their talents to the club, please think about the following committee chairs that are needed and it would be a great way to contribute to the club and have a lot of fun as well.

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Thanks to those of you who have renewed their MIS dues. Remember, dues are now $7.00 per person per year. Checks should be made payable to MIS, and sent or given to Treasurer Swede Gustafson, 3128 Eldora Lane, Missoula, MT 59803.

NEW BUSINESS:

Storage Shed - We have put off the initial phase of constructing the new storage shed at the Fort location due to weather conditions. Honk as taken some preliminary measurements and sizes. Upon a 2nd investigation, he has also found that the existing shed that we were going to be adding to is not set on any kind of foundation. This can cause problems in the construction of our new shed in the long haul. The committee will be in touch with Bob Brown to discuss possible alternatives and solutions. The committee is Honk Meyer, Zona Lindemann and Pete Addeo.

Newsletter Editor & MIS Website - Pete Addeo says the MIS website with the domain name of http://www.missoulairis.com, is up and running but needs text, information from members to fill in the blanks. He would like the members to become active in keeping the website new and exciting. Any information or articles of interest that you can find or contribute would be appreciated. Photos of gardens are welcome, as well as information on our events, information on the Fort Garden with pictures, photographs of iris for sale at the upcoming sales.
