JUNE MEETING:
DATE & TIME: SATURDAY, JUNE 4TH, (ONE HOUR EARLY) 5:30 pm. Usual potluck, followed by the meeting and a program.
PLACE: Home of Elizabeth Friesz in Alberton. Tour Elizabeth's massive iris gardens, Usual potluck supper followed by the meeting. SEE BELOW FOR DIRECTIONS & CARPOOL INFO
Program: Probably discussion and demonstrations for the show displays and report on the May 28th median show.
CARPOOL – 4:45 pm - FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO CARPOOL, MEET AT PARKING LOT ON NORTH RESERVE NEAR THE SIGN FOR GRANT CREEK SHOPPING CENTER ACROSS FROM LOWE’S AND COSTCO. WE WILL LEAVE AT 4:45 P.M.
June Meeting Driving directions: Take Highway 90 West to Fish Creek exit (38 miles) Exit #66. Exit to the right & go to the right around the stop sign. Curve down toward the Clark Fork River, crossing the railroad tracks & coming to a T in the road. Turn left at the T. Cross the River bridge. You will drop off the oiled surface after crossing the bridge & there are a couple of very tall pine trees on your left as you drop off the oiled surface. Turn left here, making a right turn on the dirt road. Follow the dirt road past the first house on your left until you get to the end of the road. Elizabeth's house is a large Ivory colored house at the end of the road. THERE ARE LOTS OF IRIS IN SIGHT AROUND THE HOUSE. PLENTY OF PARKING.

MEDIAN SHOW will happen Saturday May 28th at Southgate Mall. Set up will be at 8:30 pm. the evening before. Contact Donna Dowell for additional information.
IRIS SHOW: The 51st annual iris show will be held on Saturday June 11th at Southgate Mall in Penny's Court. The theme of the show is "Ice Cream Social". The program booklet may be obtained from Betty Ann Gustafson, Show Chair. Call her at 251-3526. The entry name tags will be available at our Saturday meeting in Alberton as will the show booklets.
SHOW SET UP: Set up will be Friday evening, June 10th at 8:00 p.m.

Minutes of the Missoula Iris Society May, 2011
The Missoula Iris Society gathered at the home of Gary Clark on May 7th at 6:30 PM 21 persons were in attendance. The membership partook in a potluck that was enjoyed by all. A judges training in beginning arrangements was conducted by Jim Sadler. An outline and a quiz was distributed to all. Each of the judges paid 5:00 for the credit.
The meeting was called to order by the President at 7:55. Minutes were approved as published. The treasurer’s report was approved as published. Under old Business it was reported that the Fort signs had been painted. Ann Violet submitted a bill for the iris tubes in the amount of $29.99. Alverta Symes moved and Donna seconded to pay the bill. The motion passed.
Donna Dowell gave a report concerning the median show which will be held on the 28ith of May. She announced that set up will be at 8:30 PM on the 27th.
Carol Addeo won the Presidential Rhizome drawing The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
