Meeting Hosts Needed: Anyone who can host a meeting, please call Carol Addeo at 251-5833. Host homes are needed for June, July 13, October and November. April meeting will be held at the home of Judy Blunt, and May meeting will be held at the home of Swede and Betty Ann Gustafson

TREASURER'S REPORT - MARCH 2013
The MIS financial records for 2012 records were reviewed by Bob and Alverta Symes on February 8, 2013 and were found to be in good order. The 2013 Montana Corporation Report has been filed with the Secretary of State along with the $15.00 fee. Carol Addeo has been paid 6 months advance funds for the MIS newsletter expenses. Ann Violette was reimbursed $36 for expenses to order from AIS Storefront two copies of the 2011 Registrations and Introductions booklets and for 5 packets of seals which are used during the annual shows. Betty Ann delivered a Sunshine floral bouquet to Dorothy Alcaraz.- $19.99. Total expenses were $220.99. Transferred funds from the Savings Account to pay bills for the month of February. Received 5 memberships during the past month from Lynn Weger, M. Elizabeth Friesz, Carol Barbian, Nancy Ryan, and Bob Brown.

Minutes of the Missoula Iris Society - Saturday, February 2, 2013
The meeting was called to order by President Ed Verplancke at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Gary Clark and Steve Hesla. The minutes for the January meeting were approved as appeared in the newsletter.
Treasurer's Report: Swede reported that several members have paid their dues for 2013 after receiving the newsletter. Five packages of ribbons have been ordered for the show. The amount of $700 was transferred out of savings and into checking to pay bills. The treasurer's report was approved on a motion from Judy Blunt; seconded by Ron Dowell.
OLD BUSINESS:
Show silver - Judy Blunt still has a piece of silver in her possession and it is available for a show whenever it is needed. Betty Ann noted that the silver was not used last year.
NEW BUSINESS:
AIS auction - Regarding the basket of donated goods to be sent to AIS for auction. Alverta and Bob will work on purchasing the items.
Website - Pete Addeo will update the website with a current listing of RVP (Ann Violette) and current list of judges. Carol will give him the names of the judges.
Median Show - The median show has been set for May 18, 2013 in the J.C. Penney court, not by the clock.
Membership list - Was updated at the meeting, including cell phones and emails.
Secretary's records - The hard copies of past secretary's records were found in the MIS shed including records from 1992 - 2009. There are three years missing, from 2010 thru 2012. Carol will keep a hard copy during her tenure as secretary of all future newsletters and membership lists in a loose leaf notebook, to be placed in the storage box with the previous years.
Thank you Alverta - A thank you pin was given to Alverta for her service as RVP. Ann Violette ordered the award for her.
Nancy Ryan sent a brief letter when she mailed her dues.
Presidential Rhizome - Winner for February is Judy Blunt.
